How we do it…

Establish a creative vision…

We begin by collaborating with our clients to determine the express purpose, intended audience, and unique style of each project. Once we’ve helped you refine your message and identify the heart of your story, our job is to create the most effective and visually striking way to present it. The next step is to develop a storyboard and script to ensure that we get the footage we need. We believe that thorough pre-production is the key to efficient shoots, minimizing days of production and keeping costs down.

Gather the material…

As filmmakers, we know that the key to capturing truly magical moments lies in establishing a relationship with our subjects before picking up a camera. Our films resonate on a personal level because of this. Part of what we love about our job is the opportunity it provides to truly engage and become a part of another world for a time. It’s not easy to be in front of the camera and we honor each person in their willingness to do it. We consider it a privilege to be invited into the lives, homes, and workplaces of the people we film. It is this genuine connection that enables us to capture beautiful and authentic images.

Weave it all together…

Once we have the material we need, we begin the process of weaving together your story- employing archival images, animation, graphics, music- whatever is needed to bring your message to life and create a lasting impression. To us, this is the most exciting part of the process- when the vision we’ve worked so hard to cultivate becomes tangible. We do an initial cut and then send it to you for feedback. As the client, your input is essential and we want you to be thrilled with the finished product. We will work with you until you are.

You have the opportunity to purchase all of the raw HD footage for use in whatever capacity you choose. You reserve exclusive rights to your footage, though we reserve the right to feature the project in our company portfolio.

We provide you with both playable DVDs as well as data files for uploading to your company website.

We are also available to shoot one-time events (no pre or post production).

Though we are based in Seattle, we are available to work on projects virtually anywhere in the U.S., either as story consultants or in full-production capacity.
